Brock's Performance Super Stock Box Q&A

  • How do I know if the Super Stock Box will make my bike faster?
If you see the orange triangle and/or HILL! warnings on your dash during a burnout or hard launch - then yes, the Super Stock Box will help your bike perform at its highest level as well as be more consistent in the process. Please watch this video for full details: https://bit.ly/498IQIT
  • Is the addition of the Super Stock Box 100% reversable?
YES - after a bit of practice a skilled technician can perform the installation or removal in about 20 minutes.
  • Can I run the Super Stock Box on the Street?
NO - The Super Stock Box is designed for Competition Use ONLY.
  • Do I need to remap my fueling after installation of the Super Stock Box?
NO - the Super Stock Box has no effect on fueling whatsoever.
  • Will the Super Stock Box work with any/all aftermarket ECM flashes?
It SHOULD... with an asterisk * All of our testing to date has been in conjunction with our Brock's Performance BT Moto ECU Flash Suzuki Hayabusa (22-24) SKU: 924775. Unfortunately, there are no consistency standards for ECM flashing, so problems could arise from using other 3rd party flashing software or mail in flashes.
  • Is the Super Stock Box waterproof?
NO - While the Super Stock Box is water resistant, it is not waterproof. Placement in the rear tail section does a good job of protecting the box from moisture, but direct contact with water (while washing the bike, etc...) is to be avoided.
  • Does the Super Stock Box have a warranty?YES - Brock Davidson Enterprises, Inc. does unconditionally warrant that its parts be free from defects in materials and workmanship prior to installation. For more information, please see our LIMITED WARRANTY & LIABILITY DISCLAIMER.
  • Is it ok the leave my ABS or IMU plugged in when using the Super Stock Box?
NO - Please run the Super Stock Box exactly as described in our installation instructions. “Picking and Choosing” features/functions can cause mixed signals at the ECM which could create a dangerous situation.
  • Do I need to physically remove my IMU or ABS Braking Block from the bike to run the Super Stock Box?
NO - These items can remain on the motorcycle, but they must be unplugged from the OEM wiring harness (and connected to the appropriate Super Stock Box harness wires) to prevent mixed signals from reaching the ECM as described above.
  • Can I use other power or traction modes with the Super Stock Box installed?
NO - The reason the Super Stock Box exists is to completely turn off items that the rider/tuner selects on the dash as OFF for maximum acceleration under Closed Course Competition use ONLY. This means Power Mode 1 (Max Power), Traction Control OFF, Lift Control OFF, Engine Braking OFF and Quick Shifter OFF (if using an aftermarket quick shifter) Or on Setting 1, if using the OEM quick shifter.

These are the exact Dash Settings used on the Brock's Performance Gen 3 Hayabusa:

  • What do I do if my bike still shows codes after the installation of the Super Stock Box?
This will typically happen if the ABS or IMU are left plugged in during the installation of the Super Stock Box, or if you have the key on with ABS and or IMU unplugged before the Super Stock Box is installed. If this happens, the codes will need to be cleared out manually using a code clearing device.
