The Suzuki Hayabusa has been a staple in the performance industry since its inception in 1999. When people think "fast bike", the Hayabusa is one of their first thoughts. With the introduction of the Gen 3 Hayabusa in 2022, Suzuki also introduced some restrictions. We decided to tackle this project due to customer demand and issues with current flash offerings on the market.
Months of R&D on the dyno and the street have helped us make the ideal flash solution for the new Hayabusa. From taking off from light to light, driving through traffic, or even racing at the track, the BT Moto difference can be felt. Power increased across the entire RPM range with restrictions removed, as well as smoother and better overall rideability makes our Stage 1 flash turn the Hayabusa into the bike you always wanted.
PLEASE NOTE (BT MOTO VELOCITY STACKS): With a completely stock Hayabusa and flashing, the Hayabusa yields small gains. Flash with our custom velocity stacks are massive. WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND FLASHING IN CONJUNCTION WITH OUR VELOCITY STACKS FOR SIGNIFICANT POWER GAINS.
Flash Design Options:
- Increased drivability flash (retains OEM throttle mapping)
- Drag flash (1-1 throttle mapping)
Drag Flash Note: Drag Throttle settings are designed to mimic non-throttle by wire throttle settings for precise throttle control at the drag strip. This means that rider input of 0-100% vs. RPM is not interrupted or altered by the ECU. While the Drag Flash can be used under any riding conditions, improper rider input can create undesirable vehicle operation in some cases.
Example: If the rider is in a higher gear (5th/6th etc..), at low speeds/RPM’s (20 MPH/2000 RPM, etc…) and decides to snap to WOT (Wide Open Throttle) instantly, the bike can bog, severely stumble or possibly even shut off completely – causing an unsafe riding condition. To avoid the situation in this example, select the proper gear (1st) to match the RPM and roll on the throttle as aggressively as desired. Please also note that Drag Throttle settings are separate/do not alter other SDMS rider settings regulated by the ECU, such as power, traction control, lift, engine braking, quick shifter, etc...
What’s Included in the BT Moto Stage 1 Flash:
- Fan temp lowered to 194°F to keep bike out of compensation or correction tables, keeping power consistent and at its maximum output
- Gear 1-6 ignition timing retard removed per mode keeping power consistent in all gears (exclusive to BT Moto)
- Throttle 1-6 ETV limits removed per mode maximizing power
- "A" mode optimized for 1:1 throttle and no restrictions (drag flash only)
- Rev limiter adjusted for best performance and sustainable reliability
- Deceleration fuel and ETV maps optimized for smoothness during riding
- Ignition tables optimized per cylinder
- Fueling tables optimized per cylinder and per gear (BT Moto exclusive)
- Ignition dwell adjusted to optimize power
- Allows OEM O2 sensor removal without trouble code
- Top speed limiter removed correctly (without errors)
- Quickshifter gets faster "kill" times (BT Moto exclusive)
- BT Moto Stacks add 20whp WITHOUT TUNING (more with tuning)

What is a BT Moto Handheld Tuner and what are the benefits of having one?
Thoroughly tested by our own engineers, not just for its function but also durability. We purposefully dropped this thing about 100 times just to make sure if you accidentally dropped it, it would still be a usable device.
So why buy it when you can just send in your ECU for flashing and spend less? Let's see the breakdown:
No Downtime - No need to send in your ECU or remove it from your bike at all. You order the handheld, it get's delivered to you, you flash your bike. You never miss a day of riding and no effort removing the ECU.
Store Multiple Maps - When you send in your ECU, you only get one map. You might be thinking, "why would I need more than one map?". Storing multiple maps means you're able to flash for different fuels. If you're a serious track competitor, we can work with you to get you different mapping for different tracks. If, for example, you're add an exhaust to your stock bike, we can email you a file that takes the new exhaust into account with the changes you need to optimize your bike's new modifications.
Go Back to Stock Anytime - Not only can you store multiple race maps, you can also flash the original, stock file back into the bike at any time and for any reason.
DYNO PROVEN
The dyno results below (see gallery for dyno chart) are from a 2022 Suzuki Hayabuya tested at our facility in Massachusetts. This bike has no modifications (other than stipulated) and is on 93 octane pump gas. You can see gains through the entire RPM range from down low to up high. The deeper the bike gets into the RPM range, the more power you get. You can see the stacks make a lot of power up top with clearly no losses down low. Results tested same day, same dyno, back to back.
RED = Factory Tuning, 93 Pump Gas: 170whp / 103wtq
BLUE = BT Moto Stage 1, 93 Pump Gas, BT Moto Stacks: 187whp / 109wtq
GREEN = BT Moto Stage 1, VP Fuel, BT Moto Stacks: 197whp / 114wtq
The dyno results below (see gallery for dyno chart) are from a 2022 Suzuki Hayabusa tested at our facility in Massachusetts. The baseline has no modifications and the after results are our stacks only. NO FLASH. Just stacks. This shows how poorly the stock Hayabusa stacks are designed. Yes, without tuning there is some loss in the mid range but up top we gain 20whp. Again, this is completely stock tuning with our stacks.
RED = Factory Tuning, 93 Pump Gas: 183whp / 110wtq
BLUE = Factory Tuning, 93 Pump Gas, BT Moto Stacks: 187whp / 109wtq
The dyno results below (see gallery for dyno chart) are from a 2022 Suzuki Hayabusa tested at our facility in Massachusetts. The red line is a completely stock baseline and the blue line is our Stage 1 flash with Brock's exhaust. You can see the gains are significant, and the higher you get to redline, the more power the bike gains.
