The 2027 Suzuki GSX-R1000 brings one of the most iconic liter bike platforms into a new generation, but the factory ECU calibration still leaves a significant amount of performance on the table.
BT Moto developed our Stage 1+ ECU Flash Tune for the 2027 Suzuki GSX-R1000 through extensive dyno development, street testing, and high speed ram-air validation. This is not a tune developed only at 100% throttle on a stationary dyno.
We calibrate the motorcycle from idle through partial and full throttle, addressing the electronic throttle system, torque limits, fueling, ignition timing, per-gear restrictions, spark hole during/after VVT transition, temperature strategies, RPM limits, and overall rideability.
The result is a GSX-R1000 that is stronger throughout the RPM range, substantially more powerful on top, smoother at partial throttle, and more responsive during both street and track riding.
IMPORTANT ECU COMPATIBILITY:
Currently available for USA spec 2027 Suzuki GSX-R1000 motorcycles with the following ECU label only:
- 32910-10L00
- 112600-8361

NOT JUST A FULL THROTTLE DYNO FLASH
A motorcycle is not ridden at 100% throttle all the time, so we don't develop our calibration that way. BT Moto tunes the partial throttle and full throttle operating areas of the ECU to improve how the GSX-R1000 behaves during everyday riding as well as maximum acceleration. Fueling, ignition, electronic throttle control, and torque delivery are optimized. The result is smoother throttle transitions, stronger acceleration, improved response, and better overall rideability from normal street speeds through full throttle track use.
STREET TESTED AND RAM-AIR VALIDATED
Dyno development is only part of the tuning process on the new GSX-R1000. The motorcycle's ram-air system changes airbox pressure as road speed increases, which means a calibration that looks correct on a stationary dyno may behave differently during actual high speed operation. BT Moto performs real world street and ram-air testing to validate fueling and engine behavior under the conditions the motorcycle actually experiences. This is especially important during sustained high speed acceleration where ram-air pressure and engine load differ from a traditional dyno pull.
ETV, TORQUE AND PER-GEAR DERESTRICTION
The 2027 GSX-R1000 uses sophisticated ride-by-wire engine management. Full throttle at the grip does not necessarily mean the ECU is commanding everything the engine is capable of producing. The factory calibration manages performance through ETV throttle maps, torque limits, gear dependent ignition strategies, riding modes, and additional ECU tables. BT Moto recalibrates these strategies together rather than simply modifying one throttle table. Mode A can be configured for a direct 1:1 throttle relationship and maximum available performance, while other riding modes can retain different power delivery characteristics depending on the customer's intended use.
OPTIMIZED SR-VVT POWER DELIVERY
The GSX-R1000's variable valve timing system plays an important role in the transition from midrange torque to high RPM horsepower. BT Moto optimizes the engine management strategies surrounding the SR-VVT changeover to reduce the torque dip through the transition and create a smoother, stronger power curve. Combined with the ETV, torque, fueling, and ignition changes, this helps the engine pull consistently from the midrange through the extended upper RPM powerband.
PUMP GAS AND MR12 CALIBRATIONS
BT Moto offers dedicated calibrations based on the fuel being used. Our pump gas Stage 1+ produced 188.76 WHP on our development motorcycle while maintaining the convenience of premium pump fuel. For customers looking for maximum closed course performance, our dedicated VP MR12 calibration produced 198.55 WHP. Always use the fuel intended for the calibration currently flashed into the motorcycle.
OEM+ PERFORMANCE, DEVELOPED FOR THE COMPLETE MOTORCYCLE
Our goal with the 2027 GSX-R1000 was not simply to create the largest possible dyno number. We wanted the motorcycle to be better everywhere. That means better partial throttle fueling, smoother response, stronger midrange acceleration, substantially more top end power, improved temperature management, optimized riding mode behavior, and a wider usable powerband. From riding through traffic to accelerating at full throttle on the track, the BT Moto Stage 1+ calibration is developed around how the motorcycle is actually used. More power. Better response. Smoother rideability. Proper ram-air development. No full throttle only tuning shortcuts.
THE BT MOTO HANDHELD TUNER
BT MOTO HANDHELD PERFORMANCE TUNER AND WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF HAVING ONE? Custom tuning at your fingertips on your schedule. Read and write your own motorcycle's ECU from the comfort of your home. No need to bring your bike to a shop, our easy-to-use handheld can be used in your spare time with quick turnaround. You now have a virtual custom personal tuner at your fingertips. Thoroughly tested by our own engineers, not just for its function but also for its durability, our easy-to-use handheld is just what you'll need to help get the most from your motorcycle!
CAN I JUST SEND IN MY ECU FOR FLASHING AND SPEND LESS? LET'S GO OVER THE ADVANTAGES.
NO DOWNTIME - No need to send in your ECU or remove it from your bike at all. You order the handheld, it gets delivered to you nearly instantly, and you flash your bike on your time easily. You never miss a day of riding, and no effort in removing the ECU. If there are any issues, you can revert to the full stock state.
READ AND CLEAR CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS - Full diagnostic of the ECU including the device.
STORE MULTIPLE MAPS - When you send in your ECU, you only get one map. You might be thinking, "Why would I need more than one map?" Storing multiple maps means you're able to flash for different configurations. If you're a serious track competitor, we can work with you to get you different mapping for different tracks. If, for example, you're adding modifications to your stock bike, we can email you a file that takes the new exhaust into account with the changes you need to optimize your bike's new modifications with no mailing needed.
GO BACK TO STOCK ANYTIME - Not only can you store multiple files, but you can also flash the original, stock file back into the bike at any time and for any reason for service, sales, and more.
ABILITY TO TUNE FUTURE BIKES - Customers swap bikes all the time! With our handheld tuner, you are able to put the first bike back to stock, then reset the device and use the same device on your next bike, with a simple and low-cost transfer fee.
ANY ISSUES? We can resolve nearly anything remotely, really quickly, with our engineering staff.

DYNO PROVEN 2027 GSX-R1000 PERFORMANCE
The BT Moto Stage 1+ calibration produces a dramatic improvement over the factory ECU, particularly in the upper RPM range.
STOCK
161.35 WHP / 77.89 WTQ
Peak power at approximately 11,130 RPM
BT MOTO STAGE 1+ - PUMP GAS
188.76 WHP / 80.83 WTQ
Peak power at approximately 14,150 RPM
That's approximately +27.4 WHP over stock at peak.
BT MOTO STAGE 1+ - VP MR12
198.55 WHP / 83.92 WTQ
Peak power at approximately 14,410 RPM
That's approximately +37.2 WHP over stock and nearly 10 additional WHP over the pump gas Stage 1+ calibration.
More importantly, the stock motorcycle reaches peak horsepower relatively early and then begins losing power, while the BT Moto calibrations continue building horsepower deep into the upper RPM range.
Near the top of the dyno run, the comparison is approximately:
- Stock: 158 WHP
- Stage 1+ Pump Gas: 187 WHP
- Stage 1+ MR12: 196 WHP
That means the difference approaches +29 WHP on pump gas and +38 WHP on MR12 in the upper portion of the powerband.
Dyno results represent our development motorcycle and test configuration. Actual results can vary based on fuel, motorcycle configuration, modifications, environmental conditions, and individual motorcycle variation.
