PAIR Block Off:

PAIR Block Off Plates are used to block the air ports on the cylinder head cover. Blocking the PAIR system prevents unwanted air from entering the exhaust stream, which can decrease exhaust “popping” and is required for a proper vehicle tune.

    More air = more bang!

    I personally don't know much about 2-wheel, but I am very familiar with Don Guhl and Brock. These two guys are two very passionate about what they do and have been doing it for a while. Both specialize in making things that suck, blow and bang go fast and do so reliably and safely. Both Don and Brock focus a lot on Kawasaki products and Don probably knows the Kawasaki programming in their ECU's better than anyone.

    Just so you know the reason I brought Don Guhl into the conversation is that Brock teamed up with Don on the RS project. Don has developed software/programming that Brock used to flash the ECU (That's how I understand it, if wrong and someone knows otherwise, chime in). Quite a team with the experience both of these guys have with Kawasaki products and racing in general. If you want the most performance out of your bike then Brock's is the way to go in my opinion.

    I have owned a lot of bikes over the years and inevitably I mod/enhance the performance of each one. I can truly say that the difference in the RS stock compared to how it performs now with Brock's "S2B Performance Package" is the most dramatic difference I have ever experienced out of all the bikes I have ever owned. The performance of my bike now is truly amazing, sure it is still down on HP/TQ compared to a few European standards/street fighters i.e. Ducati Monster 1200. But it's performance now is dramatically improved from stock and it's in the way that it performs across the whole rpm range of the motor that is impressive. It's most impressive on the top end which was almost non existent stock.

    Note: I did not have the "twitchy" throttle other's have described when stock. With the "S2B Performance Package" the throttle response is instantaneous and could be misconstrued as "Twitchy". It is manageable but you have to be mindful of it and adjust your throttle inputs accordingly.

    Also, despite the stock suspension being quite good for OEM. It becomes woefully inadequate once you step of the performance with the addition of the "S2B Performance Package". I'm just glad that I updated my brakes to Brembo's in the front before installing this package, but now if I brake hard the front of the bike dives way more than it should. I hope to have Ohlins fork cartridges and rear shock installed by Spring and I'll have one amazing bike that looks like a vintage Kawasaki but with a whole lot better performance all the way around.
